On The Scene: Feeding Hope

Grana restaurant at The Langham, Boston, hosted its fifth annual Women's Day Dinner to raise money for Women's Lunch Place, a daytime shelter and advocacy center for women experiencing hunger, homelessness and poverty. The dinner featured a seven-course meal prepared by celebrated female chefs. The all-star culinary lineup included the hotel's pastry chef and sous chef, Kerry Levesque and Delaney Lambrix; Tiffani Faison of Big Heart Hospitality; Inna Khitrik of Women's Lunch Place, Amarilys Colon of La Padrona; Erin Miller of Urban Hearth; and Eva Kranetuss of Bar Vlaha. The dinner raised $17,000, which will go toward supporting the staff and volunteers who tirelessly work to advocate for 2,300-plus women each year.
